About The Author

Mark Taylor is an ICT industry veteran with more than three decades of experience. Beginning his career at Nedbank as an IT specialist working extensively in the mainframe arena in the banking industry, and quickly working his way up the business to become General Manager of Conversions. In the late 90’s Mark project managed the merger of Plessey and Nedtel, and played the same role when Nedtel and Nashua merged to form Nashua Mobile in 2001. From 2003 – 2008 Mark was the Managing Director of Nashua Mobile during which time he was instrumental in transforming Nashua Mobile from a corporate-focused business into a multi-channel company. Four years at Vodacom with various senior management positions including Supply Chain and Logistics, Online Digital Platforms and holding the Managing Director position of the Payment Services company further added to Mark’s repertoire of experience in the ICT sector. In 2012 Mark re-joined Nashua Mobile until its successful sale in 2014 when he joined Nashua (Pty) Ltd as the CEO. With an unconventional, creative and people-focused approach to business, Taylor has been instrumental in the transformation of Nashua from a predominantly print hardware supplier to end-to-end technology solutions provider encompassing and enabling multiple aspects of our customer’s daily technology requirements. Taylor is passionate about mentoring young professionals and nurturing entrepreneurs, with a view to providing opportunities for growth and development in South Africa.
